Enjoyed that set of photos - particularly the ones of 'not pretty things' that most people wouldn't have taken, but which give a good all-round feel for the route.
Even though it could have been taken anywhere, the one of the geese jumped out at me. They're standing so neatly!
Alan R - Thanks. My favourite was the strange failing light on the one of The Hilton hotel.

Gayle - The most un-pretty one taken by John of my bloody face was not published by him, but I admired his presence of mind to take it.
There was one other duck in the line which spoilt the composition and he was cropped out - I liked that one myself for the composition and the lighting. A few seconds later that light had gone and a photo then would have been meritless.
Number 33 is very close to our house. The rubbish is shameful. I really didn't think it was that bad. All familiar ground to me, as you'll be aware, frequently visited both on foot and on wheels. A nice set of images. Thanks
Good slideshow. I like the one of the Marple Viaduct.

Phreerunner - Rubbish, although fairly frequent was only in quantity in isolated spots.
ReplyDeleteNo. 33 was one of the better surfaces. Elsewhere there was lots of squelchy mud.
