At the bottom of each post there is the word "comments". If you click on it you will see comments made by followers, and if you follow the instructions you may also comment and I always welcome that. I have found many people overlook this part of the blog which is often more interesting than the original post!

My blog nick-name is SIR HUGH. I'm not from the aristocracy - my middle name is Hugh which relates to the list of 282 hills in Scotland compiled by Sir Hugh Munro in 1891. I climbed my last one (Sgurr Mor) on 28th June 2009

LIGHTENED AND DARKENED SOME, A BIT OF CROPPING, AND DISCARDING INFERIOR SHOTS.

The display has been going from strength to strength from year to year and is funded by a bucket collection on the night.

  1. Think you could do with a spot of editing on the photos. Some good shots of the childrens faces though.

  2. BC - I couldn't agree more. It was a question of time, either publish as is, or miss the boat. Nearly all my photos are taken iinto Photoshop and considered for enhancement or cropping but I touched none of these. They were all taken on a setting called "Hand Held Night Shot." Now I have more time I may take up your suggestion.
