For newcomers

At the bottom of each post there is the word "comments". If you click on it you will see comments made by followers, and if you follow the instructions you may also comment and I always welcome that. I have found many people overlook this part of the blog which is often more interesting than the original post!

My blog nick-name is SIR HUGH. I'm not from the aristocracy - my middle name is Hugh which relates to the list of 282 hills in Scotland compiled by Sir Hugh Munro in 1891. I climbed my last one (Sgurr Mor) on 28th June 2009

For the tractor enthusiasts

Cribbed from Bowland Climber's blog. He is on a walking tour in Germany - I thought this one may be a bit more unusual, but I have zilch knowledge of tractors. I have cropped this out of the larger picture - it just happened to be in the background.

  1. Nice one Conrad. It seems more people are taking notice of great engineering. This is a Deutz Fahr D25.1S 25hp. built around 1965. The company is now part of the SAME group who funnily enough also own Lamborghini as the tractor on Gayle’s blog.
    Thanks for putting it on.
